These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Legacy Transportation Solutions website and the courier, transportation, delivery, medical courier, and logistics services provided by Legacy Transportation Solutions. By requesting, scheduling, purchasing, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website, submitting a service inquiry or quote request, scheduling transportation, or otherwise using services provided by Legacy Transportation Solutions, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you are requesting services on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to act on behalf of that organization.
2. Description of Services
Legacy Transportation Solutions provides courier, transportation, delivery, and logistics services, which may include:
Same-Day & Expedited Courier
Medical Courier & Logistics
Scheduled & Recurring Routes
Legal Document Delivery
Last-Mile Delivery
B2B & Custom Logistics
Other customized transportation solutions accepted by Legacy Transportation Solutions
Service availability may depend on pickup and delivery locations, scheduling, shipment characteristics, vehicle requirements, handling requirements, and operational availability. Legacy Transportation Solutions reserves the right to accept or decline a service request when reasonably necessary.
3. Service Requests & Quotes
Quotes provided are estimates based on initial information. Final pricing may vary depending on actual weight, dimensions, distance, and specialized handling requirements, including changes involving:
Mileage or destination
Shipment weight or dimensions
Number of stops
Pickup or delivery times
Waiting time
Special handling
After-hours service
Shipment requirements
Additional services requested
Submission of a Request a Quote or Service Inquiry form does not guarantee service availability or constitute acceptance of a shipment. Service is considered accepted after Legacy Transportation Solutions confirms the service request.
4. Delivery Times
Pickup and delivery times may be estimates unless Legacy Transportation Solutions expressly agrees in writing to a guaranteed service time. Traffic, weather, road conditions, accidents, road closures, facility delays, security procedures, incorrect addresses, recipient availability, emergencies, governmental actions, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect pickup and delivery times. Legacy Transportation Solutions will make reasonable efforts to complete accepted services according to the agreed service requirements.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information concerning the shipment and requested service. Customers are responsible for properly packaging, labeling, securing, and preparing shipments for transportation unless Legacy Transportation Solutions has expressly agreed in writing to provide those services.
6. Prohibited and Restricted Items
Legacy Transportation Solutions reserves the right to refuse any shipment that cannot legally or safely be transported. Customers may not knowingly tender illegal substances, unlawful goods, explosives, weapons, hazardous materials requiring authorization Legacy Transportation Solutions does not possess, or other prohibited items. Customers are responsible for accurately identifying shipment contents and disclosing special transportation requirements before pickup.
7. Medical Courier Services
Medical courier services may include the transportation of specimens, medical supplies, equipment, records, pharmaceuticals, or other healthcare-related materials. Customers are responsible for properly preparing, packaging, labeling, and identifying medical shipments and communicating applicable handling, temperature, and chain-of-custody requirements. Legacy Transportation Solutions will perform accepted medical courier services according to the requirements agreed upon for the particular shipment.
8. Recipient Availability & Proof of Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate recipient information and ensuring that an authorized recipient is available when required. Proof of delivery may include recipient name, signature, photograph, electronic confirmation, timestamp, or other reasonable proof. Additional charges may apply when redelivery or additional delivery attempts are required.
9. Waiting Time & Additional Services
Additional charges may apply when a driver experiences excessive waiting time or when service requirements materially change after dispatch. These charges apply for additional mileage, additional stops, address changes, redelivery, weekend/holiday service, and special handling.
10. Cancellations, Failed Pickups & Changes
Customers should notify Legacy Transportation Solutions as soon as possible when a scheduled service needs to be changed or canceled. Cancellations after dispatch may involve a charge up to 50% of the scheduled amount. Failed pickups due to customer errors may result in a charge up to 100%.
11. Payment & Invoicing
Customers are responsible for all charges associated with services they authorize. Standard payment terms for approved business customers are Net 15. Undisputed unpaid amounts may be subject to a late charge of 1.5% per month or the legal maximum.
12. Shipment Packaging
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, customers are responsible for appropriate packaging and preparation of shipments. Legacy Transportation Solutions may refuse shipments that appears unsafe, damaged, or unsecured.
13. Loss, Damage & Limitation of Liability
Legacy Transportation Solutions liability for direct physical loss of or damage to cargo will not exceed the lesser of documented value or $500 per shipment, unless a higher limit is accepted in writing. The company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
14. Claims
Customers should report suspected loss or damage as soon as reasonably possible. Submission of a claim does not automatically establish liability. Claims will be reviewed based on circumstances and documentation provided.
15. Third-Party Locations & Facilities
Legacy Transportation Solutions may perform pickups and deliveries at hospitals, pharmacies, and other third-party locations. Customers acknowledge that facility operating hours and security procedures may affect service.
16. Website Use
The Legacy Transportation Solutions website is provided for informational and service inquiry purposes. Users may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
17. Intellectual Property
Legacy Transportation Solutions website content, branding, logos, and proprietary materials may not be copied or reproduced without authorization.
18. Privacy
Information submitted through the Legacy Transportation Solutions website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
19. Force Majeure
Legacy Transportation Solutions will not be responsible for failures caused by severe weather, natural disasters, or other events beyond its reasonable control.
20. Separate Agreements
If a valid written agreement establishes terms that conflict with these Terms & Conditions, the applicable written agreement will control.
21. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
22. Changes to These Terms
Legacy Transportation Solutions may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance.
